- Creation, deleting and updating of purchase order numbers inline with the MRP system
- Review and confirm orders
- Monitoring the status of open purchase orders, delivery of goods and manage any related issues
- Expedite materials inline with changes to demands
- Understanding and communicating delays with materials or shortages in supply
- Managing deliveries including all required documentation
- Set up and monitoring of both material & supplier information within SAP
- Ensure compliance with standard operating procedures
- Proven experience with in supply chain systems and ideally with using SAP
- Experience of MRP/ ERP Systems
- Strong communications skills both verbal and written
- Ability to work proactively using own initiative whilst still building a rapport and working relationships with both internal and external teams/suppliers
- High levels of accuracy and the ability to remain organised
- Computer literate to a good standard with a focus on using MS Excel
