Ganymede Solutions are working with one of the largest UK Train Operating Companies (currently operating 464 stations, the most of any TOC in the UK), who are seeking to recruit a Train Presentation Supervisor to manage Train Presentation teams in Yorkshire region. Ganymede Solutions are a stock market recognised recruitment agency, specialising in the transportation, infrastructure, construction and engineering sectors on both permanent and contract basis.

The company covers the whole of the North, which includes the Northeast & West of England, Yorkshire and the Humber, as well as the occasional part of the East Midlands and Staffordshire. As a result of this, they have a large fleet of trains – 333 to be precise, so it's safe to say you will be active & busy with your role!

Ganymede are looking to hire someone who is organised, Microsoft office proficient and can lead from the front.

 

The Role:

As a Train Presentation Supervisor, you will be supervising Train Presentation teams in Sheffield, Doncaster and York, carrying out the following duties:

• Roster management

• People management, dealing with permanent and contractor staff

• Recruiting

• Managing budgeting 

• Trade unions

• Recruitment expenditure 

 

This role is site based only, so there will be no working from home in this position as you will need to lead your teams from the front.

 

The Roster:

You will be working on a continental shift pattern, covering earlies, middle and late shifts. The hours and days of work are below:

 

Week 1: Sunday off, Monday – Thursday on working from 16:00 – 02:00, Friday & Saturday off.

Week 2: Sunday off, Monday & Tuesday working from 05:00 – 13:00, then Wednesday – Friday working from 07:00 – 15:00, then Saturday off.

Week 3: Sunday – Tuesday off, then working Wednesday – Saturday from 14:00 – 00:00.

Week 4: working Sunday from 14:00 – 00:00, Monday & Tuesday off, working Wednesday 07:00 – 17:00, then Thursday to Saturday off.

Pay Rate & Benefits:

The pay rate for the Train Presentation Supervisor position will be at £16.77p/h for day shift, and £17.66p/h for night shift – nights are as and when needed.

Requirements:

• Full UK driving license held for a minimum of 2 years

• Previous supervisor experience in a similar sector, such as FM or other Transportation businesses 

• Be able to pass a Drugs & Alcohol test 

• Be able to pass a full rail medical – this will include, sight, hearing, colourisation, heart, lungs, brain, etc

• Provide your Right to Work documents before deployment 

• Happy to help mentality/attitude 

• Someone who can take initiative, can work independently 

• Be able to provide references before deployment
