Warehouse & Logistics Supervisor

The Role:
As the Warehouse & Logistics Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing warehouse operations and ensuring high standards of customer service. This is a hands-on leadership position where you'll:
- Manage 2 warehouse assistants and the day-to-day operations of the warehouse
- Oversee goods-in and goods-out processes, ensuring safe and timely handling of stock.
- Picking and packing orders
- Communicate effectively with customers, colleagues, and suppliers
- Handling any issues with deliveries and ensuring customers are updated
- Liaising with couriers
- Support with the transition of ERP systems (currently SAGE, moving to SAP) to optimize stock control and order processing.
- Maintain a safe, tidy, and efficient working environment.
- Prepare risk assessments, ensure compliance with safety procedures, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
What We're Looking For:
- Previous experience in warehouse and logistics operations.
- Forklift Truck experience essential
- Strong organizational and leadership skills.
- Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAGE, SAP) and stock control processes.
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
- Commitment to health and safety practices.
- Hands-on, proactive approach to problem-solving and team leadership.
What's in It for You?
- Competitive Salary: £25,000 - £30,000.
- Location: Leeds
- Hours: Monday - Thursday 8:30 am - 5:00 pm, Friday 8:30 am - 3:00 pm
