MBA are excited to be working with a best-in-class insurance company, assisting their search for an Junior Construction Adjuster.  This is an ideal role for someone wanting to make the move to a field based position.The client is an industry heavyweight with a reputation for client centric claims management, technical innovation and leadership and due to continuing growth, are looking to add to their team in the North of EnglandThe Junior Construction Adjuster will be responsible for handling a mixture high and low value Construction claims, and maintain business connections. In return, the Junior Construction Adjuster will expect a salary in excess of £30k plus, company car or car allowance, 26 days paid annual leave, pension contribution, access to thousands of perks and discounts, optional health and wellbeing cover and life assurance at 4 x your annual salary. Role & Responsibilities:
  • Receiving and acknowledging new claims.
  • Preparing case management plans, visiting the Insured, Brokers, Claimants, Claimants’ representatives, Insurers, Re-insurers, Captives and retained Experts.
  • Preparing reports commenting in detail on all aspects of the claim, including policy analysis and liability, quantum and future actions.
  • Visiting sites, interviewing witnesses and preparation of witness statements.
  • Communicating regularly with all interested parties, calculating and approving interim payments, preparing interim reports and other communication.
  • Work both externally and internally assessing Construction claims, and adjusting where appropriate.
  • Calculating and agreeing settlement of claims, and preparing final reports.
Skills & Requirements:
  • Previous experience as a Construction claims handler
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Excellent customer service, organisational & communication skills.
  • A willingness to achieve industry qualifications
