Our Production Assistants have a valuable part to play in our business and are a key part to ensuring that we operate in a safe and healthy environment.If you are looking to work for a for an exciting Locomotive Maintenance Business in Leeds then look no further.We have an opening within the business as a Production Assistant, joining a small but industrious team, they are responsible for the likes of but not exclusively:* General Depot Maintenance and Repairs* Site Housekeeping and Husbandry* Operation of Industrial Cleaners in maintaining the cleanliness of Depot Walkways* Maintenance and cleanliness of Office Spaces, Canteen, Bathrooms and Kitchen areas* Refuse Management, keeping bins clear with appropriate disposal of contents* Maintenance of Site decor through cleaning and painting of floors and walls as requiredThis role operates between the hours of 07.00 and 15.30 Monday to Friday with 30 minutes for lunch and a 15minute break in the morning and afternoon.Our ideal candidate will have some previous experience in the cleanliness and upkeep of a large facility, ideally Engineering, be hands on with basic to good DiY skills, an excellent Team Player with a good sense of humour although the ability work alone and under ones own direction is desirableDue to the nature of the role you should be fit and healthy and be able to work from ladders where required.This is a full time, permanent opportunity and comes with a salary of £25,311.00 for a 40 hour week plus excellent benefits package.The Depot is easily accessible from all areas in around Leeds, has plenty of parking and is close to local amenities/shopsThis is an excellent opportunity to work within the site of a Leading Engineering Maintenance Facility providing some job security and continuity.Interested parties should contact Mark Smith on eitherInterviews are time flexible and will take approximately 1 hourOffers are subject to the successful completion of a Medical and Drug & Alcohol check plus CRB, all costs are covered by the business on successful completion
