An excellent opportunity has arisen for an Applications Engineer to work as part of the Data centre Applications Engineering team to be based from our site in Leeds. The position will report to the Principle Applications Engineering Team Leader.

Responsibilities for this role include:

To support the growth and development of the sales team through provision of quotes and delivery of order information for customer services and manufacturing.

Working with the Key account manager to understand technical specification and provide technical quotes/ solutions from the Airedale product range.

Dealing with customer technical sales enquiries.

Support the external sales team.

Respond to any external sales enquiries.

Provide details of orders to customer services and manufacturing.

Liaising with third party suppliers at specification stage.

About you:

Engineering knowledge to a minimum of degree in a technical subject or diploma in a technical subject mechanical / electrical / refrigeration.

Ideally 2 years plus experience of Applications Engineering.

Working knowledge of MS Office applications Namely Word, Excel and Outlook.

Ability to work with different groups within Airedale.

Problem solving skills to overcome challenging obstacles.

Excellent interpersonal skills.

Ability to use own initiative and prioritise tasks.

Excellent communication skills.
