Hawk 3 Talent Solutions are looking for a Maintenance Shift Engineer to join a company based just outside Leeds in West Yorkshire

The Role

To maintain, improve and repair the equipment on site so it is reliable and effective in producing the customer requirements on time in full.

Duties

• Repair & maintenance of equipment
• Safety critical repairs
• Optimise and improve site equipment
• Support operational teams on changeovers or changeover critical equipment
• Utilise the CMMS system and log all downtime, as well as constant improvement to systems.
• Involved in RCA to understand failure modes
• Work in a hygienic and food safety conscious manner at all times
• Completion of food safety critical paperwork
• All issues raise to Shift Manager / Engineering Manager

Skills/Experience/Knowledge

• Electrically or mechanically competent.
• Computer literate CMMS
• Clear and concise paperwork completion.
• Working knowledge of Air, Steam, Refrigeration systems.
• Experience of RCA, FMECA, Lean etc
• HACCP
• Food Hygiene L3
• Allergen Awareness
• Fault find on complex systems.
• Logical and thorough in their fault finding
• Able to source information required and apply
• Good communicator
• Builds rapport easily with wider teams
