  • We are seeking a Maintenance Engineer, preferably with an electrical bias, for an injection moulding manufacturing client located in Leeds - Morley (LS27).
  • The position offers a salary of £41,500 per annum, along with an additional annual bonus targeted at 5% of the salary.
  • Candidates should have at least NVQ Level 3 Electrical City & Guilds qualifications and experience in maintaining plant and equipment.
  • The role involves performing day-to-day maintenance, diagnosing electrical and mechanical faults, and ensuring all equipment is in safe working order.
  • The shift pattern for this role is a Panama shift pattern, which includes both day and night shifts.

We are currently looking to recruit an Maintenance Engineer (ideally Electrically biased) for our injection moulding manufacturing client based in Leeds - Morley (LS27)

Salary:
41.5k Per annual
Plus an additional annual bonus targeted at 5% of annual salary

Shift Patter:
Panama shift pattern (DAYS & NIGHTS)

Duties as Maintenance Engineer:

  • Perform the day to day maintenance of plant and equipment, to include moulding and assembly machinery, to ensure continuity of Production, consistent with the Company's goals and needs.
  • Be flexible in your approach to duties in accordance with the requirements of the business.
  • Diagnose and repair electrical/mechanical faults that occur on plant and/or equipment.
  • Assist with the maintenance program (TPM) for all plant and/or equipment.(hydraulics, robots, ancillary machines automatic assembly)
  • Validate new plant, equipment, automation and upgrades.
  • Process / Equipment troubleshooting and failure analysis
  • Ensure all items of plant and/or equipment is in good safe working order.
  • Build and maintain items and documentation within the maintenance department, necessary for the effective running of the plant and/or equipment.
  • Deliver innovative technical solutions to the plant.
  • Identify opportunities for new technology/automation.
  • Maintain a high standard of record keeping for all repairs and servicing of plant and/or equipment as required for audit, traceability and warranty purposes, in accordance with the Quality Management System.
  • Routinely manage your workload using the Quality Management System (Q-Pulse) and ensure actions are completed within the required timescales.
  • Demonstrate ability to make decisions based on data.
  • Use the necessary or required internal and/or external software to facilitate this role including Q-Pulse and Microsoft. This list is non-exhaustive.
  • Maintain the highest standards of housekeeping at all times.
  • Dismantle, inspect and overhaul equipment, as required by preventive maintenance program and production schedules.
  • Acquire and develop advanced knowledge of electronics and programming of Programmable Logic Controllers

Qualifications and Other skills

  • The right candidate must have Electrical City & Guilds qualifications (NVQ Level 3)
