A manufacturer based in Leeds that are looking for an Electrically Biased Maintenance Engineer to join the team.
Description
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair electrical faults in machinery, control panels, PLCs, and other electrical systems to minimise downtime and ensure smooth operations.
- Carry out scheduled maintenance on electrical components, motors, sensors, and wiring to prevent unexpected breakdowns and improve equipment efficiency.
- Ensure all electrical work complies with health and safety regulations and company policies while maintaining proper documentation of maintenance activities.
Profile
- BTEC/City&Guilds Electrical apprenticeship (or equivalent/higher)
- BS7671 IEE wiring regulations 18th edition
- Level 3 Certificate in Inspection, testing and certification
- Basic PLC knowledge and fault finding
- Working knowledge of Machine Safety Directives, EAWR 1989 and PUWER
- Minimum 3 years relevant experience
