Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer

Are you Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer or similar with a background in plant machinery or manufacturing looking for a permanent, full-time role with training and plenty of overtime on offer within an industry-leading organisation that specialises in the design, manufacture and installation of bespoke precast concrete products?

On offer is the fantastic opportunity to work for a successful, well-established company with a history of over 90 years. They are the UK's leading specialist in precast concrete products primarily supplying to the building industry. They manufacture bespoke precast concrete products from the initial design stage through to the completion of the project their expert team offer comprehensive support and advice.

Your role will involve maintaining and troubleshooting heavy plant machinery, including pumps, motor box bearings, and conveyor belts, ensuring optimal performance. You will monitor all machinery and ancillary systems during production, completing the relevant paperwork to ensure accurate records. Performing fault diagnostics on electrical and hydraulic systems, along with conducting preventative and planned maintenance, will be essential in maintaining equipment reliability. You will also be responsible for addressing plant breakdowns, carrying out shutdown preparatory work, and collaborating with engineering contractors when necessary.

This role would suit an Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer or similar with a background in plant machinery or manufacturing looking for a dynamic role in a growing organization that offers the chance to upskill yourself.

THE ROLE:

  • Maintaining equipment working on pumps and motor box bearings
  • Monitor all machinery and ancillary plant during production, completing relevant paperwork
  • Early Finish on Fridays
  • Monday to Friday core hours between 7am-4pm
