Lead Production Engineer required to join our specialist client within the Engineering and Manufacturing industry based near to Leeds.
This role is available due to company growth and is an exciting opportunity for a Lead Production Engineer to join the companies successful team.
Production Engineer Job Overview- Hands on role in a workshop - subassemblies, wiring and programming.
- Ensure that production processes are efficient and meet high standards.
- Supervise and support production staff, including training employees and evaluating performance.
- Organise workflow by assigning tasks and preparing schedules.
- Maintain accurate records while overseeing Smartsheet documentation.
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment ensuring compliance with Health and safety.
- Compile and submit reports on production performance and progress.
- Manage logistic KPIs with stated guidelines.
- Experience working in a hands on / workshop role and environment.
- Experience in; subassemblies, wiring and programming.
- Engineering Production background.
- Strong Organisational leadership and problem-solving skills.
- Previous experience in similar role.
- Excellent Verbal and written communication skills.
- Based within a commutable distance of Leeds.
- Proficiency in MS office, Smartsheet.
- £28 - 30k salary DOE.
- Full time position - Monday to Friday.
- 25 days holiday package plus bank holidays.
