The Role:

As Process Improvement Specialist, you will be responsible for leading initiatives that identify inefficiencies and implement process improvements across a wide range of retail functions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to enhance operational performance, reduce costs, and improve the customer experience.

The role will involve analysing current workflows, identifying areas for improvement, and deploying solutions that streamline operations and drive greater efficiency across the business. You will also lead on implementing best practices, ensuring the business remains at the forefront of operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process Optimisation: Identify opportunities for process improvement across retail operations, supply chain, logistics, and customer service functions.
  • Project Leadership: Take ownership of end-to-end process improvement projects, from initial analysis to solution implementation, ensuring successful outcomes.
  • Data Analysis: Use data and performance metrics to identify inefficiencies, track progress, and develop strategies for continuous improvement.
  • Collaboration: Work with key stakeholders across various departments (including operations, IT, merchandising, and customer service) to ensure alignment and successful delivery of projects.
  • Best Practice Implementation: Develop and implement best practices that optimise business processes, increase productivity, and reduce operational costs.
  • Change Management: Lead change initiatives, ensuring smooth implementation of new processes, technologies, and workflows across the business.
  • Reporting & KPI Management: Develop, track, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of process improvements and provide insights to senior leadership.
  • Innovation: Stay ahead of industry trends and technologies to identify new opportunities for operational enhancements and innovation.
The Candidate:

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in process improvement within a retail or fast-paced consumer environment. You will have a passion for driving change and an ability to work collaboratively across teams to implement lasting improvements.

Skills & Experience:

  • Proven experience in process improvement roles within retail, supply chain, logistics, or customer service environments.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to lead cross-functional teams to deliver complex process improvement initiatives.
  • Expertise in data analysis and the ability to use insights to drive decision-making and performance improvements.
  • Familiarity with process improvement methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, or other recognised frameworks.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organisation.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with a focus on identifying opportunities and delivering effective solutions.
  • Experience in change management, with a proven ability to manage and implement operational changes across large teams.
  • A proactive, results-oriented approach with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
