Manufacturing Manager

Elevation Recruitment Group are recruiting for a brilliant new opportunity for a Manufacturing Manager to join a leading engineering company near Leeds. As a Manufacturing Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the production process, ensuring that operations are both efficient and effective. You will be responsible for leading a dynamic team, managing production schedules, and driving continuous improvements across the facility.

Duties and responsibilities of the Manufacturing Manager:

• Manage schedule adherence of production Operations
• Manage resources so that all areas are fully manned
• Proactively communicate any scheduling or quality-related concerns and work towards quick resolutions.
• Attend pre-production meetings to represent the production facility and ensure that any concerns or complications are highlighted
• Drive a culture of 5S workplace organisation, H&S & quality

We are keen to speak with Manufacturing Manager’s with the following skills and experiences:

• Significant exposure to Lean Manufacturing & Continuous Improvement methodologies
• Production / Shift Management experience within a CNC Machining environment would be ideal
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, production planning, and quality control methodologies.
• Proficiency in using manufacturing software, ERP systems, and other relevant tools for production management and analysis.
• Proven track record of effective team leadership, motivation, and development.
