Up Front Recruitment are working with anearthworks and remediation contractor to hire a Site Manager with experience in earthworks and remediation.

You will play a crucial role in overseeing and managing the earthworks, remediation. You will be responsible for ensuring that all earthworks activities are carried out efficiently, safely, and in accordance with project spec and timelines.

The role is ideal for an experience Site Manager based in Leeds or North West, with experience of managing earthworks and remediation packages.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement detailed earthworks plans in coordination with project requirements.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure successful completion.
• Supervise and lead a team of machine ops, ensuring productivity and adherence to safety standards.
• Provide training and support to team members to enhance their skills and capabilities.

• Health and Safety Compliance

• Resource Management: Manage labour, plant and materials delivery.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Proven experience as aSite Manager, particularly in earthworks & remediation
• CSCS Card
• SMSTS
• First Aid
• Strong knowledge of earthworks and remediation processes, techniques, and materials.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Solid understanding of health and safety regulations.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
