As our Marketing and Admissions Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and unifying our brand, driving engagement, and supporting the growth of all our business units.

The next big step for Unit One is engaging families to showcase our brand-new nursery and working towards advertising our BTEC offerings to school leavers. This role is central to driving admissions for Unit One Kids and enrollment for our BTEC Level 3 program, while delivering impactful marketing campaigns across the organization.

The Role:
We are looking for a self-starting and results-driven Marketing and Admissions Manager to lead, plan, and deliver all marketing and enrollment activities across our business units. You will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to increase brand awareness, attract new members and clients, and foster loyalty within our community. In this role, you will oversee and guide our excellent Marketing Apprentice, who is currently working towards a digital marketing qualification, ensuring their growth and development within the team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Planning: Develop and execute marketing and admissions strategies aligned with business goals, including annual plans for all Unit One ventures.
  • Admissions and Enrollment: Lead the admissions process, and funding aspects, for Unit One Kids and the enrollment of school leavers into our BTEC Level 3 program, ensuring a seamless experience for families and students.
  • Leadership and Coordination: Oversee marketing and admissions initiatives, delegating tasks where necessary, and ensuring timely delivery of campaigns.
  • Brand Development: Ensure consistency across all branding and communication materials, reflecting the unique identities of our diverse business units.
  • Event Marketing: Oversee the planning and promotion of events such as Hyrox Race simulations, open days, and other seasonal activities, delegating tasks to the Marketing Apprentice and Gym Manager while ensuring alignment with broader marketing objectives.
  • Analytics and Reporting: Monitor marketing performance, analyze data, and provide regular reports with actionable insights.
  • Partnerships and PR: Build relationships with local businesses, schools, and influencers to create collaborative opportunities and enhance our reputation.
  • Family and Education Engagement: Develop campaigns to promote our new nursery to families and market our BTEC offerings to school leavers.
  • Team Management: Provide guidance and mentorship to the Marketing Apprentice, supporting their ongoing training and ensuring their work aligns with strategic goals.

    About You:
    Were looking for someone who is as passionate about health, fitness, and community as we are. The ideal candidate will have:
  • Proven experience in a marketing or admissions role, ideally in fitness, childcare, education, or community-driven industries.
  • Strong skills in campaign planning and execution, with the ability to delegate tasks effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • A results-oriented mindset with the ability to analyze data and optimize campaigns.
  • Creative thinking and the ability to bring fresh ideas to the table.
  • Experience managing budgets and working across multiple projects simultaneously.
  • A track record of supporting and developing junior team members.
