A reputable, Yorkshire based provider of LEV / Clean Air services are now seeking to take on a qualified and hard-working LEV Engineer. You will be joining their team of established Engineers and will be working in line with COSHH / HSG 258 guidelines to carry out the installation and testing of LEV systems. You will be able to work well independently across Industrial, Food & Beverage and Waste Recycling sites.
Consideration will be given to candidates from: Bradford, Keighley, Wakefield, Dewsbury, Halifax, Otley, Ilkley, Morley, Castleford, Mexborough, Barnsley, Rotherham, Doncaster, Sheffield, Chesterfield, Worksop, Mansfield, Scunthorpe.
Experience & Qualifications:
" Must hold the BOHS P601 qualification.
" Will have experience working for an LEV / Clean Air company, working hands on as an LEV Engineer.
" Excellent practical knowledge of HSG 258 / COSHH guidelines.
" Able to work well independently.
" Excellent IT skills, able to produce detailed reports based on site findings.
" Able to prioritise work load in line with company and client needs.
The Role:
" Working in line with HSG 258 / COSHH guidelines ensuring to install LEV systems across Industrial, Food & Beverage and Waste Recycling sites.
" Ensuring to test LEV systems, including dust, fume, oil list and fume cupboards.
" Correctly installing PVC and polypropylene ducting & welding.
" Scheduling and carrying out preventive and reactive maintenance.
" Installing, commissioning and maintaining, and repairing all equipment in line with manufacturing requirements.
" Providing detailed demonstrations to clients on how to use systems.
" Undertaking risk assessments on site, rectifying any issues in a timely manner.
" Providing clients with detailed site-specific reports.
