My client has head offices in Exeter and a recently opened second office in Leeds. They are a leading player in the renewable energy sector, delivering high-quality Solar PV solutions nationwide. Committed to helping the UK achieve its net-zero goals, they take pride in their expertise, innovation, and dedication to excellence.

I am seeking an experienced Project Manager to join their growing team. The role will focus on delivering large-scale roof and ground-mounted Solar PV systems and requires a strong electrical background. Key responsibilities include planning and scheduling installations, liaising with suppliers and site staff, and ensuring projects are delivered on time and to a high standard. The successful candidate will manage health and safety compliance, oversee procurement, and maintain project documentation using the company's CRM and project information systems.

My client is looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented professional with a proven track record in project management within the renewable energy sector. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background in Solar PV systems, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. They should be proactive, adaptable, and able to work collaboratively with internal teams, suppliers, and clients.

The Role

  • Planning and scheduling Solar PV installations
  • Liaising with suppliers, site staff, and installation teams
  • Managing health and safety compliance and overseeing procurement
  • Ensuring projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to a high standard
  • Conducting site pre-installation technical and costing surveys

The Person

  • Have a minimum 3 years' experience managing commercial-scale Solar PV projects
  • Be knowledgeable in UK DNO G99 & G100 requirements
  • Have experience in battery storage modelling and HV/LV connections (ideally with a DNO background)
  • Possess strong IT skills and the ability to interpret PV and electrical designs
  • Hold a full UK driving licence
