Elevation Recruitment Group is working with a leading manufacturer in Leeds that is looking for an experienced Mechanically Biased Lead/Commissioning Engineer to join their business.

Days only

Salary – Up to £45,000

The Lead/Commissioning Engineer will carry out commissioning on installs on and off-site, carry out routine/preventative and reactive maintenance and respond to plant breakdowns.

Duties of the Commissioning Engineer will include:

  • Ensure commissioning records and results are kept up to date;
  • Ensure defects are categorised & attended to
  • Use engineering machines to remanufacture parts
  • Ensuring continuous improvement across the business
  • Accurate reporting of mechanical breakdowns and spares used
  • Carry out daily/weekly/monthly PM’s, reducing downtime
  • Improve efficiency on existing machines

We are keen to speak with Lead/Commissioning Engineers with the following;

  • City & Guilds trained/qualified mechanical
  • Apprentice-trained or time-served
  • Experience with the implementation of FAT and SAT’s
  • Able to read electrical/mechanical/hydraulic/pneumatic technical drawings
  • Computer skills for recording/production of data
  • PLC would be desirable but not essential

This role would suit someone who has an enthusiastic and flexible approach, can work independently and can self-manage your time during the working day.
