Our client a dynamic and innovative manufacturing business, committed driving excellence throughout the shop floor whilst implementing continuous improvement are looking to appoint a maintenance engineer. The successful maintenance engineer will be experienced within a manufacturing setting and have the ability to work to a planned maintenance schedule and on a reactive basis.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Conduct preventative and reactive maintenance on a range of manufacturing equipment focusing on electrical systems
  • Diagnose electrical faults and minimize down time maintaining production efficiencies
  • Support the mechanical engineers as and when required
  • Work closely with the production team to identify and implement improvements
  • Ensure a high level of health and safety is maintained, always.

Qualifications:

  • NVQ Level 3 HNC or equivalent in electrical engineering
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems including PLCs, motors, inverters and control panels.
  • Basic mechanical systems understanding
  • Proactive problem solver
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
