A Mechanical Contracts Manager opportunity has become available with an expanding West Yorkshire-based M&E contractor, who are offering a salary of between £40k - £50k, along with substantial benefits including a company vehicle, 33 days holiday (including bank holidays), company pension, and a range of employee discounts available.

Our client offers a range of services within the M&E sector to clients across Yorkshire and the Humber from their offices based just outside Leeds, and are part of a large group of companies that has been in operation for over 40 years and turn over upwards of £40m per annum. They work largely within the commercial sector, with their client base including a number of schools, colleges, hospitals, and prisons.

Mechanical Contracts Manager Job Responsibilities

  • Office-based position from our clients head office in Wetherby, West Yorkshire
  • Managing a range of commercial contracts for clients such as schools, colleges, hospitals, and prisons, across the West Yorkshire and Humberside region
  • Liaising directly with clients, providing on-site and remote technical support, along with pricing and quoting for additional works
  • Managing a team of engineers and subcontractors completing mechanical installation and maintenance tasks within the commercial plumbing and heating sector

Mechanical Contracts Manager Job Requirements

  • Strong mechanical engineering experience, specifically from the commercial plumbing and heating sector
  • Proven background in contracts management, and confident in liaising directly with clients and managing teams of engineers
  • Heating sector qualifications desirable but not essential (such as ACS Commercial Gas tickets)
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Based within a commutable distance of Wetherby, West Yorkshire

Mechanical Contracts Manager Salary & Benefits

  • Salary £40,000 - £50,000, depending on experience
  • Company vehicle provided
  • Monday to Friday, 8am - 4:30pm
  • 33 days holiday, including bank holidays
