Attention all Mechanical Design Engineers!

Here at Blueprint Recruitment one of our top leading clients is seeking a passionate and experienced Mechanical Design Engineer to join them in a contract role, working on commercial and residential projects. The successful candidate will work in a hybrid role with up to three days a week in the clients office in Leeds.

Our client is a well-established engineering consultancy, focused on delivering innovative solutions across a variety of sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

-Developing detailed mechanical design drawings.

-Supporting concept generation and mechanical feasibility studies.

-Conducting design calculations and simulations where required.

-Collaborating with clients and internal teams to define project requirements.

-Managing design documentation and ensuring compliance with industry standards.

-Engaging in design reviews and problem-solving discussions with a cross-functional team.

Key Requirements:

-A degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.

-Proven experience in mechanical design engineering (ideally 3+ years).

-Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and materials.

-Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

-Ability to manage time effectively across multiple projects.
