Murray McIntosh are currently seeking a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to work for a client of ours on a permanent basis as detailed below:
Responsibilities:
- Produce new and update existing designs for applications using AutoCAD & SolidEdge.
- Create detailed component and assembly drawings
- Create and maintain accurate documentation including BOM's, Proposals, Manuals and Maintenance instructions for designs.
- Interpret customer specifications and design standards
- Carry out DFMEA as required
Background
- Previous experience of designing transmission, gears, powertrain or similar would be advantageous
- Candidates must be eligable for SC clearance
- Marine or Defence industry experience advantageous
