Are you a skilled Mechanical Engineer with a background in building services? A growing and innovative team in Leeds is looking for a Senior Mechanical Engineer to play a pivotal role in delivering sustainable, high-quality mechanical engineering solutions across a variety of exciting projects.
Key Responsibilities of this Senior Mechanical Engineer role include:
- Lead and manage the mechanical engineering aspects of building services projects from concept through to completion.
- Collaborate with other disciplines to ensure seamless integrated design and project success.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers and teams.
- Act as a key point of contact for clients, contractors, and stakeholders, ensuring project requirements are met.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant building regulations, standards, and industry best practices.
Skills and Experience Required:
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field (Chartered status is advantageous).
- At least 5 years of experience in building services engineering, including senior-level responsibilities.
- Strong expertise in building regulations and sustainable practices.
- Proven experience in project management and client-facing roles.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving abilities.
- Reside in or near to Leeds.
