Elevation Recruitment Group are working with an engineering company to recruit a Mechanically biased Field Service Engineer to join their site based in Leeds.

Salary: Competitive 

Hours: Minimum 37 hours per week +overtime

Our client specialising in high-pressure hydraulic equipment and is dedicated to delivering first-class service and support to clients across the UK & Overseas is looking for a skilled and enthusiastic Field Service Engineer.

Duties of the Field Service Engineer will include:

  • Install and commission new and refurbished equipment and systems
  • Work independently or as part of a team to achieve service goals
  • Diagnose machine problems on-site and generate effective solutions
  • Generate site reports with recommendations for upgrades and improvements
  • Conduct on-site maintenance of hydraulic and mechanical equipment
  • Strip, assess and refurbish hydraulic valves and pumps
  • Provide fast response to customer breakdowns
  • Work closely with customers at all levels and identify opportunities for service and repair
  • Work with customers to train maintenance staff
  • Implement retrofits for existing systems

We would like to speak with Field Service Engineers with the following skills/experience

  • ONC/HNC qualified or recognised relevant Apprenticeship
  • Mechanically biased qualification
  • Familiarity with electro/hydraulic systems control and associated components
  • Proven track record in fault finding on electro/hydraulic systems and experience in field diagnosis
  • Previous experience working in a field-based role

Due to international travel candidates are required to have a UK passport and driving licence.
