Service Engineer / Field Service Technician / Compressor Engineer required to join a global, leading compressed air manufacturer.

The Successful Service Engineer / Field Service Technician / Compressor Engineer will provide electrical and mechanical repair, service, fault finding of compressed air equipment, including compressors, vacuum pumps, desiccant dryers, chillers, compressed air filtration, nitrogen generators and associated compressor equipment at customer sites across Yorkshire and surroundingareas.

The Service Engineer / Field Service Technician / Compressor Engineer will ideally have a field Service background in servicing compressed air systems, predominantly compressors, nitrogen or oxygen generators, blowers, dryers, medical gas, air filtration or transferable fields to compressed air.

Service Engineer / Field Service Technician / Compressor Engineer Role
  • To provide electrical and mechanical repair, service and maintenance of compressed air products, systems and solutions at customer sites across Yorkshire and surrounding areas.
  • The Compressor Service Engineer will undertake planned and preventative maintenance, commissioning, diagnostics, fault finding of various compressed air and compressor filtration systems.
  • Maintain, repair, install, validation & testing of compressed air equipment, including compressors, vacuum pumps, desiccant dryers, chillers, compressed air filtration, nitrogen generators and associated products.
  • Identifying and providing the customer with compressed air improvements, upgrades, or general aftercare of compressed air products.
  • Liaise with various engineering departments.
Service Engineer / Field Service Technician / Compressor Engineer Requirements
  • Proven diagnostic skills on complicated electrical and mechanical engineering equipment associated with compressed air.
  • Experience as a Field Service Engineer / Service Engineer / Service Technician / Installation Engineer / Compressor Engineer or similar with experience on compressed air systems.
  • The ability in maintaining good professional working relationships with existing and new compressed air customers.
  • Good working knowledge of servicing compressed air systems, predominantly compressors, nitrogen or oxygen generators, blowers, dryers, medical gas, air filtration or similar compressed air systems.
  • Technical mechanical/electrical, Apprentice trained, HNC, HND, Degree or FGaswould be advantageous.
  • Fully remote, willingness to travel across Yorkshire and surrounding areas.
