Our client, a West Yorkshire-based M&E contractor are looking to grow further and currently require an experienced HVAC Engineer to join their team, with a number of benefits including a basic salary of up to £45,000, door to door travel pay, company vehicle (with personal use available), and no on call rota!

Our client offers a range of services within the M&E sector to clients across Yorkshire and the Humber from their offices based just outside Leeds, and are part of a large group of companies that has been in operation for over 40 years and turn over upwards of £40m per annum. They work largely within the commercial sector, with their client base including a number of schools, colleges, hospitals, and prisons.

HVAC Engineer Position Responsibilities

  • Completing regular servicing, fault-finding, repairs, and installations on Air Conditioning and Mechanical equipment in commercial settings - 60/40 split biased towards service/maintenance
  • Working alongside the wider M&E team, including plumbing and heating teams to complete large-scale projects
  • Travelling across Yorkshire and the Humber, with the main bulk of the work taking place in West Yorkshire

HVAC Engineer Position Requirements

  • Experience completing servicing and maintenance on Air Conditioning equipment essential
  • Previous experience working on additional mechanical equipment, i.e. AHU's, pumps, motors, chillers, and heat pumps desirable
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Either currently hold or confident in being able to get an Enhanced DBS certificate upon starting
  • Based within Yorkshire and comfortable commuting across the area

HVAC Engineer Position Remuneration

  • Salary £35,000 - £45,000, depending on experience
  • Company van provided, with personal use available
  • 40 hour working week, Monday - Friday
  • Overtime paid at 1.5x for anything over 8 hours, with additional rates agreed for any weekend/evening work undertaken
  • Door to door travel paid
  • 32 days holiday, including bank holidays
  • Company pension provided
