My client is looking for an experienced maintenance engineer to take the maintenance team leader position at a world-renowned heavy industry firm in Leeds. Managing a smaller dedicated team, you will assume responsibility for all maintenance on-site reporting directly to the General Manager.

To be successful, you will have a wealth of experience in maintenance and be looking to either make the step up or have worked previously as a team leader.

The role will be a mixture of overseeing in a supervisory capacity and hands-on maintenance with generally 60% on the tools and 40% in the office. You will focus specifically on improving PPMs and taking inventory of spare parts for sale.

Experience Required:

  • Previous experience as a maintenance team leader/maintenance supervisor is not essential but would be beneficial. Open to someone looking to take the step up.
  • Some formal qualifications in engineering maintenance would be beneficial but are not deal-breaking, experience is more of a priority.
  • Previous experience in heavy industry maintenance is desired.
