Elevation Recruitment is proud to be partnering with a leading manufacturer in Leeds to recruit a skilled Workshop Assembly Fitter to join their team.

Location: LeedsSalary: £39,000 - £45,000 (DOE)Shift: Days (07:30 - 15:00)

Key Responsibilities of the Workshop Assembly Fitter:

  • Commissioning and completing new installations both on-site and off-site.
  • Assembling, installing, and maintaining machinery and equipment, including mechanical and hydraulic systems.
  • Diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical faults to ensure efficient and safe machinery operation.
  • Maintaining up-to-date commissioning records and results.
  • Collaborating with the team to ensure seamless operations.
  • Travelling to site as required.

Requirements of the Workshop Assembly Fitter:

  • Apprenticeship-trained or time-served in a similar role.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Enthusiastic and flexible approach to work.
  • Ability to manage time effectively and work independently.
  • Excellent teamwork skills.
  • Proficient manual handling skills.
