Account Manager Job Responsibilities:

  • Actively and consistently leads ways to simplify and enhance the client experience.
  • Responsible for ensuring all quotes and orders input onto our sales order system, taking ownership, and ensuring the clients order is managed right the way through to completion.
  • Maintains all sales databases necessary to report sales activity and customer information.
  • Works closely with Account executives and other stakeholders within the business to ensure all clients are responded to quickly and efficiently.
  • Communicating with clients to understand their needs and to gather product or service feedback
  • Manages relationships with Account Executives and stakeholders positively.
  • Can manage projects from infancy right the way through to completion.
  • Takes a proactive approach to your development.
  • Develop and support the Account Executives to ensure they are maximising their potential.
  • Actively look for ways to enhance the relationship and revenue with your clients.
  • Consistently evaluate opportunities to enhance sales, customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Can work accurately and conscientiously ensuring a consistently high level of performance all the time.
  • Ensure company processes and procedures are adhered to.
  • Follow company procedures within internal management system consisting of CRM, sales orders, purchasing and stock management.
  • Support Account Executives manage their own clients, ensuring an excellent level of service is maintained.
  • Produce Monthly/Quarterly reports and trend analysis on the accounts you deal with.
  • Manage your time effectively and efficiently.

Account Manager Qualifications/Skills:

  • Verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask and work efficiently and effectively to meet required deadlines.
  • Ability to learn quickly and apply that knowledge.
  • A desire to work within a team, whilst having the ability to excel individually.
  • Proficient with Excel, PowerPoint.
  • Proven account management and organisational skills with the ability to meet deadlines and targets
  • A passion for delivering outstanding work and an unquestionable drive for quality
  • Excellent relationship-building and communication skills
  • A strong command/understanding of time management and commercial awareness
  • The ability to think on your feet, generate original ideas and pitch them to clients
  • A proven track record of managing high profile work
