Lead Credit Risk Analyst

Leeds (Hybrid Policy - 3 days a week in the office)

£52,000 Salary

A global bank is looking to expand their Credit Risk strategy team by bringing in a new Lead Analyst to enhance existing policies and identify new opportunities to develop policies. In this role, you'll be collaborating with senior management to support the growth of the bank and have the opportunity to learn from talented individuals.

The Role

  • Predominantly focused on the design of acquisition strategies and setting risk appetite
  • Maintaining and monitoring existing credit card strategies
  • Collaborating with the underwriting team to understand customer eligibility
  • Engaging with senior stakeholders, building consensus, and negotiating strategy proposals

Your Skills and Experience

  • Credit Risk strategy experience, working on an unsecured portfolio
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills
  • Possess a numerical/analytical degree/qualification
  • Proficiency in either SAS, SQL, VBA, or Python is required
