An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Lead Credit Risk Analyst to join a leading global financial services provider. This role focuses on the design and development of unsecured credit card strategies. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytics background, with experience in credit risk strategy and the ability to work with senior stakeholders to shape critical credit decisions.

THE ROLE
As a Lead Credit Risk Analyst, you will take a leadership role in the development and execution of unsecured credit card strategies. Key responsibilities include:
- Lead the design of credit strategies for unsecured credit card products.
- Set risk appetite and ensure strategies align with business objectives.
- Monitor and analyse portfolio performance to identify areas for improvement.
- Work closely with senior stakeholders to gain buy-in and drive strategic initiatives.
- Utilise SAS/SQL for data analysis; transition to Python in 2024 to enhance analytical capabilities.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
The ideal candidate has strong analytical skills, stakeholder engagement abilities, and experience in unsecured credit strategies.
Essential:
- 5+ years of experience in credit risk strategy or financial services analytics.
- Proficiency in SAS and/or SQL.
- Background in analytics and credit risk strategy
- Experience in unsecured lending or credit card strategy
- Strong stakeholder engagement and interpersonal communication skills
- Proficiency in SAS and/or SQL
