Location: Leeds (Office-based) + Sites across North East England
Contract: 6 months initially, 2-3 days per week
Hours: 7.5 per day
Vehicle: Own vehicle use is required

We are looking for a Senior Engineering Geologist to join our client's team in Leeds. This role offers the chance to work on diverse Geotechnical and Geo-environmental projects across the north of England and beyond. Flexibility to work on different sites is essential. This role falls outside IR35.

Key Responsibilities
聽
路Produce Desk Studies, Site Investigation Reports, and Coal Mining Risk Reports
路Prepare Tenders and Specifications for grouting, mine workings, and earthworks
路Respond to regulator conditions and queries
路Attend client meetings and supervise site work as needed
路Assist in team management and mentoring junior staff
聽
Key experience required
聽
Degree in Geology or Engineering Geology
Chartered Geologist (CGeol) status or working towards it
5-10+ years' experience in:
聽
路Ground investigation techniques
路Fieldwork supervision
路Soil & rock sampling/logging
路Geotechnical and contamination reporting
路Earthworks and remediation strategies
聽
Bonus Skills (Desirable but not Essential)
聽
Slope Stability Assessment
CLEA Risk Assessment
Groundwater DQRA
