7.5 Tonne Home Delivery Driver
4 Days out of Monday to Saturday (Rota) 06:00 - 11:00 starts
Pay Rate: £12.71 PER HOUR

People Solutions are recruiting 7.5 Tonne Home Delivery drivers for our well established client based in Leeds. This role will be on a temporary to permanent basis for the right candidate.

Day to Day Duties
- Your duties as a 7.5t Driver will involve but not be limited to:
- House delivery of furniture and white goods and TV's
- You will be doing around 30 deliveries per day around the North West
- Ensure all cargo is loaded and secured properly
- Adhere to traffic laws and regulations
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers
- Maintain accurate records of shipment and mileage
- Report any vehicle defects or maintenance needs to management
- Drive 7.5 Tonne vehicle safey and efficiently
- Work as part of a 2 man team
- Follow company policies and procedures
- Comply with driving rules and regulations
Essential Skills
- Must undertake a DBS check
- Hold a valid UK Category C1 Driving Licence
- Hold a valid UK CPC Card & UK Digi Card
- Have a minimum of 12 months experience driving a 7.5 Tonne vehicles
- No more than six penalty points and no major endorsement codes
- Must be able to speak and read good level of English
- Flexibility and availability to work overtime as and when required
- Excellent customer service skills
Desirable Experience
- Experience working as part of a 2 person team making home deliveries.
What training is provided?
- Driving Assessment to be completed before starting
- Full training will be provided for this role after successful assessment
