We are seeking a HR & Recruitment Business Partner to join the new Cyber & Information Risk Division of The GRC Group. Our division provides penetration testing, cyber software and information and data consultancy services to thousands of businesses. Formed through the acquisition of two rapidly growing successful businesses (Bulletproof and Pentest People), we have ambitions for further substantial growth both in the UK and USA. Together the division has c200 employees based mainly in the UK, USA, and India and ÂŁ20m revenue. Over the next 12-18 months we will be combining these businesses to create one market leading company where the most important contribution to our success will be colleague engagement levels.
About the roleWe are looking to appoint an engaging and delivery-focused HR professional to positively influence the full range of our candidate and colleague offer as an HR & Recruitment Business Partner. Colleagues are at the forefront of everything we do. Our business success is directly related to the extent to which our colleagues are engaged; both our positive culture and focus on staff development are critical to retention of technical expertise in a highly mobile market. With strong engagement levels our challenge now is to combine and harness that goodwill in a new, merged organisation creating a 2+2=5 story.
Working with an internal People team, the successful candidate will provide strong “business partnering” support to certain parts of the business (initially Bulletproof Cyber) covering the full spectrum of the candidate / colleague lifespan. Further acquisitions are planned so the role will also demand involvement in the integration of those new colleagues.

Candidate Expectations
- CIPD Qualified or Part-Qualified (level 5 or above)
- Experience as a HR Business Partner or strong experience as a Senior HR Advisor looking for the next step.
- Experience recruiting, including to technical roles.
- Strong employment law knowledge and experience handling an ER caseload.
Skills and Personal Attributes
- Leadership skills, including influencing and negotiating.
- Team player with relationship building and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong commercial skills
- Proficient IT skills, specifically the use of Microsoft Office applications and HR Software.
