Our Behaviour Mentors provide essential guidance and support to staff and students who face behavioural and emotional challenges, helping them thrive in their school environment.Job Description:We are looking for a flexible, compassionate Behaviour Mentor to join us in a casual role, working across multiple schools. This position offers a great opportunity to make a real difference while enjoying a flexible schedule. You will work with students in various school settings, supporting them with behaviour management, emotional regulation, and academic engagement.Key Responsibilities:

• Provide 1:1 mentoring and small group support to students across different schools
• Assist in developing and implementing personalised behaviour plans
• Work with teachers and school staff to monitor and improve student behaviour
• Help students develop positive coping strategies and emotional resilience
• Move between schools as needed, supporting where required
• Build rapport with students and school staff to create a safe and supportive environment
• Offer advice and assistance on behaviour management techniques to school staff

Requirements:

• Previous experience working with young people, particularly those with behavioural challenges, is preferred
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships quickly
• Flexibility and adaptability, with the ability to work in different school environments
• A calm, patient approach to managing challenging situations
• A passion for helping students achieve their full potential
• Own transport is desirable, as you will be required to travel between schools
