Electrical Team Lead
Salary: Circa 38k per annum
Location: Leeds
Metalis are currently working with a Leeds based client who design, manufacture and overhaul components for the rail industry. Our client is now looking for an Electrical Team Lead to join the Electrical department on a temporary to permanent basis, which will result in permanent contracts for candidates who complete a successful probation period.
Job Role:
- Overseeing the Overhaul/Assembly of cables, harnesses and other products to the customers' requirements.
- Repair, Routine Maintenance and Overhaul of electrical assemblies used in the Rail industry.
- Crimping, measuring, and assembling of electrical harnesses/looms.
- Testing completed assemblies to ensure functionality and reliability.
- Recording and updating details of any work completed.
- Writing and implementing Work instructions/Overhaul procedures.
- Working to strict deadlines and time scales
- Use of equipment including hand and power tools.
- Supervising a small team of electrical engineers/assemblers.
Job Requirements:
- Experience in an electrical assembly role,
- Apprentice trained/qualified (Preferred but not essential)
- Understanding of engineering drawings.
- Experience with MK automated test unit (Preferred but not essential)

- Overtime Available
- Circa 38k per annum (DOE)
