Are you a passionate and dedicated Nursery Nurse looking for flexible work in Leeds, West Yorkshire?  I am recruiting for several different roles in the Leeds area and looking for supply nursery practitioners to work in nurseries and early years settings on a day-to-day or long-term basis. I would have opportunities for people looking for part time but full days or full time ongoing. 

Working through Reed Employment would be a fantastic opportunity to gain experience in a variety of settings while maintaining a flexible work-life balance.

The roles:

  • To provide high-quality care, learning, and play opportunities for children aged 0-5 years
  • To support child development in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework
  • Encourage language, social, and motor skill development through creative play and activities
  • You will work closely with permanent staff and parents to support each child's individual needs
  • Maintain a high standard of safeguarding and follow nursery policies and procedures
  • Assist with feeding, changing, and nap times

Requirements:

  • Level 2 or 3 qualification in Early Years/Childcare (or equivalent)
  • Knowledge of EYFS Framework - Understanding of child development and learning milestones
  • Experience of working in a nursery or early years setting
  • A caring and patient approach to working with young children
  • An enhanced DBS on the update service or the willingness to have a DBS completed.
