You will engage with various internal stakeholders and play a key role in ensuring smooth payroll operations. You have a proven track record in payroll management and you are experienced with ADP IHCM, HMRC returns and auto-enrolment requirements. Your excellent communication skills will be crucial as we pride ourselves in providing exceptional service to our employees. While flexibility around month and year-end processes is required, we offer a working week that accommodates your personal commitments.Responsibilities Your responsibilities will include:
  • Manage end-to-end processing of UK payroll for 2,500+ employees, as well as payrolls in Denmark, Ireland, Australia, Portugal and the US
  • Generate time and attendance reports
  • Process new starters and leavers
  • Handle sickness and absence processing in line with statutory entitlements and company policies
  • Administer company pension schemes, ensuring compliance with auto-enrolment policies
  • Manage deductions, including attachment of earnings orders, staff loans and cycle-to-work schemes
  • Process overtime, on-call payments, pay increases, bonuses and contractual changes
  • Use ADP IHCM payroll software for imports and report generation
  • Maintain deep knowledge of PAYE/NIC, statutory payments (SMP/SAP, SPP, SSP) and pension schemes, including auto-enrolment and pension uploads
  • Stay current with payroll legislation and compliance updates
  • Maintain payroll standing operating procedures
  • Familiarity with ADP IHCM, Zest, Bob and Kantata systems is a plus
  • Payroll qualifications are highly desirable
