Our lovely client, a leading Engineering Consultancy, is seeking a Temporary HR/Payroll Administrator to join their team based in Leeds to cover a Maternity Leave, offering a 6-month assignment and Hybrid working from their luxury offices in Chapel Allerton.

- Job Title: Temporary HR/Payroll Administrator

- Hourly Rate: £25,500 (Hourly rate, weekly pay)

- Hours: 9am-5.30pm (May be some flex on the hours)

- Start Date: ASAP (This week ideally!)

- End Date: 6 Months

- Working Pattern: Full Time (Monday to Friday, Up to 2 days working from home)

- Location: Chapel Allerton, Leeds

Responsibilities:

  • To work as part of the HR Operations team to provide administrative support to the payroll team. Working as part of the Payroll Team to process monthly payrolls, including zero-hour contracts
  • Actively checking all changes processed in payroll.
  • Assisting with monthly payroll for our client's Ireland operation, using payroll bureau, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations
  • Administering monthly payroll activities such as third-party changes/payments and producing FPS and EPS submissions.
  • Assist with reports related to benefits eg. Cycle to Work, Charities Aid. Carrying out childcare voucher earnings assessments.
  • Provide advice and guidance on statutory pay and leave; jury service, sickness, maternity, paternity, adoption, shared parental and parental.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in HR or Payroll Administration advantageous, the client will consider strong administrative experience
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Knowledge of payroll systems such as SelectPay and PayCheck Plus.
  • Understanding of statutory pay and leave regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
