Warehouse, Pick, Pack, Despatch and TransportTo £ 70,000pa + attractive bonus and benefits LeedsThe role: Reporting to and deputising for the Managing Director, you will be responsible for leading the Warehouse, Pick, Pack, Despatch and Transport operations..Your primary objective will be to deliver efficient, cost-effective operations that exceed customer expectations.Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee warehouse operations, ensuring timely and accurate order fulfilment.
- Supervise pick pack despatch processes to maintain high standards of accuracy and efficiency.
- Coordinate transport logistics to ensure timely delivery of goods.
- Develop and implement operational policies and procedures that improve efficiency and productivity.
- Monitor and analyse key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Train, mentor, and develop staff to achieve their full potential.
Experience:
- Proven experience as an Operations Manager or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of pick, pack, despatch, warehouse and transport operations.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Outstanding organisational and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in using warehouse management systems (WMS) and other relevant software.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
