Primary School KS1 Teacher

Job Description

NextGen Teachers are proud to be recruiting on behalf of a 3 form entry primary school based in Leeds (LS9) for a Key Stage 1 teacher, starting after February half term. The chosen candidate will hold qualified teaching status (QTS) and have both ECT years completed. It is essential to have a strong knowledge of phonics frameworks as well as an understanding of EYFS and child development to successfully support the children with their learning. Duties will include the preparation, planning and delivery of lessons as well as behaviour management and following safeguarding procedures.

Requirements of Primary School KS1 Teacher:

  • Qualified Teaching status (QTS)
  • Both ECT Years completed
  • Two professional references
  • An Enhanced Child DBS on the update service
  • The Right to work in the UK
