Primary School Teacher
Job Description
NextGen Teachers are currently recruiting on behalf of a school based in Leeds for a qualified primary school teacher. Day to day duties of a primary school teacher include the planning and preparation within the classroom, following the suitable curriculum for each year group/ key stage. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills to successful manage and deliver lessons to the classroom as well as supporting each child with their learning and development. Qualities that a successful primary school teacher will show will include: kindness, organisation, professionalism and patience. A strong knowledge of both Sat's and phonics frameworks is essential in order to successfully assess and evaluate classwork and progress.
Requirements for Primary School Teacher:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Both ECT years completed
- Two professional references
- An child's enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to complete one)
- The right to work in the UK
- Experience working in a primary school
