Job Description

NextGen Teachers are proud to be recruiting on behalf of a larger than average sized Primary school in Leeds that caters for over 600 pupils in school. The school are looking for a Primary KS1 Teacher who is available for a full-time teaching position starting after the February half-term break this year.

This is a high-performing school who are looking for a Teacher with extensive Phonics experience and who is available to work on a full-time basis from February 2025 - August 2025.

This role will be to teach a Class of Year 1 pupils in Key Stage 1 who have been described by their current Teacher as a pleasure to teach. All of the pupils are eager to learn and are currently on track to meet age related expectations in their Phonics screening and testing this year.

Teachers applying for this position MUST have:

  • Qualified Teaching status (QTS) in the UK
  • Both ECT Years completed
  • Two professional references
  • An Enhanced Child DBS on the update service
  • The Right to work in the UK
