Job Description

NextGen Teachers are proud to be recruiting on behalf of a 3 form entry primary school based in Central Leeds in LS9 who are looking for an experienced Key Stage 1 Class Teacher for a lovely Year 1 Class starting after the February half-term break.

This is a high performing school that is graded as good by Ofsted and has a very experienced and inspiring Head Teacher. This school are looking for a Primary Teacher for a Year 1 class of pupils who is able to start in 4 weeks time.

The larger than average sized Primary school are looking for an established teacher who has completed their Induction period and who has experience with Phonics screening and testing as well as teaching a range of diverse children whose first language is not English.

Interviews and meetings with the Head Teacher will be taking place from week commencing 4th February.

Teachers applying for this role must have:

  • Qualified Teaching status (QTS) in the UK
  • Both ECT Years completed
  • Two professional references
  • An Enhanced Child DBS on the update service
  • The Right to work in the UK
