EAL Teaching Assistant - Leeds

We're currently recruiting for an EAL Teaching Assistant to join a fantastic Primary School based in Leeds (LS6). If you are an experienced Teaching Assistant or looking to work in the Education sector and have a real passion for making a difference, we would love to hear from you.

NextGen Teachers are an Education Recruitment Agency currently working with several Primary schools located in and around the Leeds area.

We're seeking a confident EAL Teaching Assistant who can assist pupils across the Primary age range who are either new to the UK with limited English language skills or pupils who speak English as an additional language. This role will be covering all year groups and will be to initially work mornings only 8:30am - 12:30pm with the view of going full time before Christmas.

Successful applications will have:

  • 1 years' experience with EAL learners
  • At least 1 year of experience working with children in a professional capacity
  • Enhanced DBS (or willingness to complete one)
  • Monday to Friday morning availability
  • 2x professional references
  • Right to work in the UK
