NextGen teachers are proud to be recruiting on behalf of multiple schools in Leeds who are seeking to employ multiple Graduate Teaching Assistants for full-time Graduate positions starting in September 2025 (or sooner).

NextGen Teachers are an Educational based agency who support schools with finding the best talent for their full-time / permanent roles.

We are currently looking for graduates who are interested in working in either Primary or Special Needs schools and who have the drive and passion to support students during their education journey.

The role of a Graduate Teaching Assistant will be to work with children across school in their classroom as a teachers aid supporting with pupil progress, classroom disruption and the support of children with additional needs.

The working hours for this role are 8:30am - 3:30pm from Monday - Friday term time only with 13 weeks of holiday per year.

Requirements for Graduate Teaching Assistant:

  • A Degree in any field
  • Previous experience working with children
  • The right to work in the UK
  • An enhanced child DBS on the update service (or willingness to complete one)
  • Two professional references
  • A passion for education
