Here at Reed Education in Leeds, we work closely with schools across Leeds who are always looking for passionate and knowledgeable Teaching Assistants to fill their ever expanding jobs in Primary Schools. We have jobs ranging all across all years from Early Years to Year 6.

Our roles tend to start on supply but certainly have the opportunity to be placed on a permanent basis. With pay being on a daily rate, this will start from £85 - £95 a day (with option to go higher of £95, depending on your experience)

Requirements:

  • A current Enhanced DBS Certificate
  • Availability to start work immediately in September
  • Ideally Relevant Teaching Qualification

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Preparing the classroom for each session with your fellow class teachers
  • Providing small-group or individual support to student as needed
  • Assisting teachers with planning and record-keeping
  • Supporting teachers in student behaviour management

The Ideal Teaching Assistant will:

  • Be patient and able to build strong relationships with children
  • Possess an empathetic nature
  • Have a kind, caring and approachable towards all students
  • Have prior experience working with special needs students
  • Showcase strong behavioural management skills
