We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Teaching Assistant to provide support to KS1 students with mild Special Educational Needs (SEN) in a vibrant and inclusive classroom. This full-time position offers the chance to make a real difference in the lives of young learners.

Roles and responsibilities:
- Provide one-on-one assistance to children with special educational needs, tailoring support to their specific requirements.
- Modify classroom materials and teaching methods to accommodate diverse learning styles and abilities among children.
- Implement behaviour management strategies to promote positive conduct and create a conducive learning environment.
- Collaborate with teachers and special education coordinators to develop and implement Individualised Education Plans (IEPs) for children with SEN.
- Promote inclusion and social integration by facilitating interactions between children with SEN and their peers.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of children with SEN during classroom activities and transitions.
Requirements:
- A solid grasp of the national Key Stage Curriculum.
- Familiarity with diverse teaching approaches suitable for children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).
- You possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, demonstrating the ability to build rapport with students and create a nurturing environment.
- You are patient, understanding, and possess a strong ability to adapt your approach to meet individual needs.
- You are a team player and enjoy collaborating with colleagues to achieve shared goals.
- You are reliable, dependable, and committed to providing high-quality care.
- An Enhanced DBS check or ready to acquire one through Randstad
- Eligibility to work in the UK without sponsorship
