Justteachers is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Primary Teaching Assistant to join one of our partnered schools in LS8. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate and proactive individual to support young learners in a nurturing and inclusive educational environment.
Job Responsibilities:Assisting the class teacher in delivering engaging and effective lessons across Key Stage 1 (KS1) and Key Stage 2 (KS2).
Providing one-on-one and small group support to pupils to enhance their learning experience.
Supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) to ensure inclusivity and progress.
Helping to create a positive and engaging classroom environment.
Encouraging student participation and fostering confidence in learning.
Assisting with classroom preparation, resources, and administrative tasks.
Managing behaviour in line with school policies and promoting positive reinforcement strategies.
Supporting students' social and emotional development.
Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant in a primary school setting.
A Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (desirable).
Strong understanding of child development and learning strategies.
Ability to build strong relationships with both pupils and staff.
A proactive and adaptable approach to supporting childrens learning.
Passion for education and commitment to helping pupils achieve their full potential.
