A leading law firm is seeking a Private Client Paralegal to join its growing team In Leeds on a hybrid basis.
This role is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to support a diverse range of private client matters and contribute to delivering exceptional client service.
Role Overview:
As a Paralegal, you will work closely with the Partners and fee earners in the Private Client team, assisting with a variety of tasks including managing probate matters, preparing wills and supporting the preparation of estate accounts.
You will play a key role in maintaining excellent client relationships and assisting with the smooth management of private client cases.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting with straightforward probate matters under supervision
- Submitting Trustee Act Notices
- Assisting in the preparation of estate accounts, including bank reconciliations
- Drafting basic Wills, Deeds of Retirement, Trustees' Minutes and Resolutions
- Preparing and registering Lasting Powers of Attorney
- Handling initial inquiries from third parties and processing payment requests
- Conducting Land Registry searches
- Attending client meetings and conducting research as required
Key Attributes/Skills:
You will have:
- A strong understanding of private client law and the ability to work independently with supervision
- Excellent drafting skills and legal research experience
