A leading law firm is seeking a Private Client Paralegal to join its growing team In Leeds on a hybrid basis.

This role is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to support a diverse range of private client matters and contribute to delivering exceptional client service.

Role Overview:

As a Paralegal, you will work closely with the Partners and fee earners in the Private Client team, assisting with a variety of tasks including managing probate matters, preparing wills and supporting the preparation of estate accounts.

You will play a key role in maintaining excellent client relationships and assisting with the smooth management of private client cases.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting with straightforward probate matters under supervision
  • Submitting Trustee Act Notices
  • Assisting in the preparation of estate accounts, including bank reconciliations
  • Drafting basic Wills, Deeds of Retirement, Trustees' Minutes and Resolutions
  • Preparing and registering Lasting Powers of Attorney
  • Handling initial inquiries from third parties and processing payment requests
  • Conducting Land Registry searches
  • Attending client meetings and conducting research as required

Key Attributes/Skills:

You will have:

  • A strong understanding of private client law and the ability to work independently with supervision
  • Excellent drafting skills and legal research experience
